And I thought there were a lot of Flying Geese! That was NOTHING compared to these.
I don’t even know. Too many to count.
I did not have a place/table big enough to even lay them all out for a picture.
But I did take lots and lots of pictures. This is probably because I needed a break.
I started by matching all of the squares that had white as the second color. After chain-stitching these into a very loooooong line, I began matching the rest of the fabrics together to make the stars.
I had another little helper this week. Lauryn BEGGED to help. Of course I couldn’t possibly turn her away. I’m hoping my enthusiasm for sewing and quilting will rub off on her. It’s never to early to start, right?
Then it was just a matter of cutting and trimming. Cutting and trimming and more trimming. AND MORE TRIMMING!
And here they are! All put together and ready for me to start on the stars!! YES!
