Star Light Star Bright | Cutting

This week’s assignment was to cut the fabrics. I decided to go with the alternate style block, so I had quite a bit of re-figuring to do, but I think, I HOPE it will turn out.

It’s too late to go back now! :)

There is a group of us here in the Shenandoah Valley doing this quilt along. I believe the last check was somewhere around 20. Woohoo! :)

Three of these gals were over here today working on cutting.

Here are some pics.

Miriam

and two other girlfriends stopped by with their works-in-progress. We’re becoming quite the little quilting community and I couldn’t be more happy about that! :)

So here they are!

My fabrics all cut out and ready to go!

I even made a jelly roll out of my white sashing, isn’t it cute?

Next week, we put together Flying Geese!

Until next time,

You are so on top of this!! I haven’t even bought fabric yet (too much traveling and speaking the last two weeks). But you inspire and motivate me to get a MOVE ON! :)
