Wednesday WIP: Chubby Logs

It’s really quite simple.

I got this book for Christmas – Skip the Borders by Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts

And then a gift certificate for our local fabric store for my birthday in January.

I saw this quilt pattern in the book – called Chubby Logs

And these are the fabrics I’ve chosen to use. They are by Riley Blake and the exact name escapes me at the moment. I sort of stacked them on top of each other to give an impression of what it’s going to look like completed. I can’t wait to get started. Of course, I have to finish some of my other WIP’s first, but in the meantime…

Here’s to dreaming… :)

What’s on your dream list right now?

I agree, it will be beautiful. I love the materials. They go so well together. I like the idea of a quilt with no borders, too.

  3. Kristen says:

Beautiful fabrics. I can’t wait to see this come together. We have to get moving on the PhDs so you can start on it!
