What does this number mean to you?
Today, the number 32 means so much more to me than it did yesterday. You see, today is the day that I turn 32.
For some reason this birthday isn’t as daunting as 30 was. Perhaps I’ve matured and realized that age really doesn’t matter or perhaps it’s because I’m too busy to think about it.
Either way, I’m not ashamed to admit my age this year and I’m not kicking and screaming and pouting like I was when I hit 30.
In honor of my birthday, I would like to host a drawing for Colleen Coble’s book
Lonestar Secrets
I’m a big fan of her Lonestar series and if you haven’t had the chance to read them yet, now would be a good time to start.
To enter, leave a comment with your birthday (and age if you’re brave enough) below. You must be a follower either on networked blogs or facebook.
If you would like a double entry, tell a friend.
This drawing will be held on January 23, so don’t wait to bring your friends and enter yourself!

Happy Birthday Sheri! I’m envious of 32. I’m 36 and closer to 40 than 30. Oh my! My birthday is 6/13/1975. I was born on Friday the 13th in the hospital elevator. My mom was trying to keep me from being born on that day because of the bad rep it has for being unlucky. As a result, I consider Friday the 13th and the number 13 lucky. I also like to think my mom now considers it a lucky day as well, considering her youngest child was born on that day.
I did go through a rather long phase, starting when I was very young, of loving horror movies. That phase is over. Except on Halloween.
Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear, Sheri, Happy Birthday to you.
I remember when I was 32…ok not really! What special stuff are you going to do today!
Well, I’m less than twice your age. I remember thinking I would never live to be 30. I was surprised when I did. I had behaved as though I wouldn’t and all of a sudden I realized that some of the stupid things I’d done were going to have consequences. On my 30th birthday I gladly turned my life over to Christ because I had made a royal mess of it myself. He had a lot of restoration to do with me! At 33, I was awed to realize that I was as old as He ever was in the flesh. Contemplate that this year!
Hi Sheri!
My birthday is June 3rd… 1977. Like you, I’ve always looked very young. But now that I’m 34.6, I’m getting to the point that maybe other people think I still look younger than I am–but I sure don’t feel it anymore. It’s kind of depressing. I guess I was spoiled looking like a young and fresh twenty year old for so many years.
Happy Birthday Sheri! You don’t look 32, that’s for sure.
You and Dawn are a matched pair ~ I’ve heard one is supposed to enjoy that. Everyone always thinks my younger (sometimes older!) than I really am. Odd I know… I’m 20.
Have a wonderful day! I hope you family makes it special for you.
Hi Sheri! Happy Birthday! I’m 31, and will turn 32 on April 29th! I’m a facebook follower
Hope your day is extra special!
Happy Birthday Sheri! I hope you have had a wonderful day. My birthday is March 14, and I will be 44.
Well then, my bday is coming up too – glad to share the month with you:) Though I have crested your hill and am staring at…40 – I get to hold out for 2 more years though! Geesh, didn’t feel old until I just typed that in. I’m gonna go hide in the corner now!
Happy Birthday, Sheri! Please do not enter me in this giveaway, just wanted to wish you nonstop birthday joy and blessings
My birthday is July 13 (1978) and I’m 33 until then, I believe that 30s is the new 20s and so on
There is more growth, wisdom, appreciation, and blessings for you to experience now than ever before and you’re lovely just as you are. Have a wonderful birthday celebration!
Happy belated birthday Sheri! I too was in the same pouting boat when 30 came around. With my birthday being October 30, 1975, I am now 36 and looking at a teenager who will graduate next year which I think makes me feel older than I am, not to mention she will never let me forget my birthday 20 years and 8 days before her’s. I also get to look at my toddler and feel younger and older at the same time just trying to keep up with her.
Happy Birthday! My birthday is also in January! Mine is the 8th and I just turned 48! I loved reading about the book series, Lonestar Secrets and I loved reading your blog! Happy Days ~ Kari
Oh Happy Birthday!!! I hope your day was amazing. Today I turn 34; January is a good time to be born.
Happy (late) b-day Sherri!
I will be 32 in Oct. of this year. I know all to well about the pouting, kicking and screaming turning 30, 31, and now goimg to be 32. I had a few goals that I wanted to accomplish before I turned 30 and unfourtantly am heading toward 32 with none accomplished. Try and try again, right?! I was one that never was bothered by what age I was and was very content to be whatever age and just enjoy that. But now I feel as if time is running very fast away from me and I can’t catch up to it.
Anyhow hope you had a great day.
Jess L.
